I know it's been a while since I've posted so often. 2 posts in about 24 hours. I haven't posted this frequently since I started this blog. Well we had something "exciting" happen this morning, and I'm sure grandmas are going to want to see pictures.
Baluga and Stir Fry were in the bath tub this morning/afternoon getting ready for church. They were clean and ready to get out, but since they are water babies they stay in and play until we kick them out. It was freezing this morning, so I was laying under my covers while they were in playing in the bath tub in our room. The hubby was in talking to me and all of the sudden we heard a thud and a cry. The hubby went in to see what happened and Baluga fell in the bath tub, aparently they were standing up playing in the bath tub. I stayed in bed until I heard ah oh blood! Never a good sign when it comes to bath tubs. I'm pretty sure one of my brothers fell into the bath tub and cut himself open. Baluga cut herself under her chin! We immediately got her out to look at the damage. The hubby said well if it was Stir Fry I wouldn't worry about it, but with it being Baluga and being his daughter he wasn't sure what to do. It is a pretty short cut and not too deep, one of those where you're not sure if it is enough to get stitches or not. So what do you do? With it being Sunday we couldn't just go to the doctor and have him check her out. If I'm going to take her to a place open on Sunday or the hospital I want to make sure it's necessary. So I called one of my good friends and neighbors, Jessica, to see if her hubby Drew was available for us to use his expertise. While we don't know any doctors or pediatrician personally to call, our friend Drew is the Athletic Trainer for UVU so he's the closest thing we got and is pretty intelligent when it comes to injuries since it is what he does for a job. So he came over and looked at it and brought his bag of things. He said if we were concerned about scaring we could take her in to get a stitch but he wasn't even 100% sure they would stitch it because isn't was short and not too deep, but if it was his kid he would just put butterfly tape on it. So she just laid on my lap and let him clean it and put herself back together. She did a wonderful job and so did he. So thank you Drew and thanks Jess for letting us take your husband away for a little bit before church and not be able to help as much in getting the kids ready. So here are a couple pictures, one with the bloody band aid over the butterfly tape, and then one after we took the band aid off to replace it. So we didn't pull the camera out after she cut herself open to show you what it looked like before. So this is all you are going to get.

You guys have had quite the excitement with doctors/dentists lately. Hopefully it won't continue!
Man oh man, poor kids. My sister laura was the queen of splitting her chin in the bath tub. It happened more then once. And what a trooper Stirling is. He is braver then I would of been walking back there. I hope a few good blessing come your way soon, maybe Forrest will start running soon!! well that might not be a blessing.
P.S. Love the new look, i was wondering if it was gonna happen!! Good job Jeremy!
I was the sibling that cracked their eyebrow open in the bathroom. It was on the toliet, not the bathtub, and I don't remember how it happend. Maybe mom will leave a comment on how it happened, but I would guess probably not.
Just out of curiosity, and being a parent myself, why wouldn't you be running with jeremy to see what has happened to your child when you hear a thud followed by crying?
Anyways, sounds like you guys are keeping busy with all the action going on in the house. I hope everybody has a fast recovery and no more bad things are on the way.
Thanks for sharing with the world that I'm such a bad parent. I just figured we both didn't need to be running into our small bathroom, so I just let the hubby do it. Good for you and Cori for both running to the rescue everyone time one of your children is crying. ;)
Hey Erin! I'm so glad you found my blog, now we can be blogging buddies! I'm always excited to see what's going on in everyone's life! This will be a fun way to keep in touch!
hey sister me and staci were talking i know this may not mean much since we are not parents but i think i would have done the same thing as you guys i probably would have ran in to help or staci and just waited to see what happened. one it is a small place and two two people can't really do much in my mind. i am sure you were on the phone while jeremy was with her. i love you guys thanks again jeremy for the pictures.
Your welcome Blake for the pics. Our kids get hurt/yell enough around the house that unless there is blood we just let it go. But it is all good. I am glad you guys liked the pics.

I didn't announce anything to the world. I was just commenting on what I read in your post (others may have thought the same thing?). If you didn't want anybody to judge you based on what was posted, why go into unneeded details?
I don't know why so many people got defensive about a comment. It's sad to know you have to tip-toe around so you don't offend people. Even if it is something as simple as a blog comment.
Looks like some people can dish it out, but can't take it too well. ;)
hey there...no prob on the borrowing the hubby thing...anytime! and thanks for the yummy bread...i dont think it even lasted an hour. love ya!
Are you guys serious? Give me a break. Don't take yourself or life so seriously. Yeah I know we fought a bit when we were kids, but is this for real. It's not a competition, we all handle things differently and thats just fine.
In my mind it just sounded like a question, no need to take offense. And Blake no need to add fuel to the fire. Amandas brother is a Doctor now so if i need to get a few perscriptions of "chill" pills for anyone just let me know.
P.S. Me and Amanda both go check on Alli when something like that happens, like when she fell off the bed.
Love Ryan :)
